• Kildare tree services have extensive experience in the removal of dead, diseased, overgrown and dangerous trees. In open spaces, a tree can be simply felled . But in confined spaces where there is danger of damage to property, the tree is dismantled in sections. We have the experience and equipment to perform these very difficult operations with efficiency and minimum of fuss.
  
  
  

• In all our operations we provide an on site branch shredding service. We have the ability to mulch all branches and green waste on site. As in the case of hedge cutting above, you can then use the mulch yourself or have us remove it.

• We provide a hedge-cutting service for small garden hedges and have the equipment to tackle large boundary hedges. We can shred all waste branches if required. You can then use the shredded material yourself or have us remove it. If we remove it, we do not take it to a "landfill site" where it might cause problems. It is used as a mulch to improve soil conditions, moisture retention of the soil and to replace valuable soil nutrients.

• We specialize in lowering overgrown hedges so that the hedge will regenerate successfully to maintain privacy.

• Deadwooding the Tree – The selective removal of dead, diseased, broken, or weakly attached branches on a tree, reducing liability and increasing tree health
• Crown Thinning – The selective removal of foliage and growth to increase light penetration, air movement through the crown and to reduce crown weight.
• Crown Reduction– Making the crown of the tree smaller without unduly spoiling the shape of the tree. The process allows wind to move through the tree, which reduces the chance of tree failure. In addition, more light and air can reach the inner portion of the tree, which increases new branch production. Overall, crown reduction can make for a healthier, safer, more attractive tree.

Stump Grinding:

• We work with a professional stump grinder to have unsafe, unsightly stumps removed from your property quickly and promptly.

• The removal of trees/shrubs on sites for the process of new developments. Kildare Tree Services can carry out all site clearance duties from large to small areas.

• Kildare Tree Services is operated by Martin kelleher, B.Agr.Sc.(Forestry), Nat.Dipl.Hort. Martin spent three years studying Horticulture in Warrenstown and four years studying Forestry in University College Dublin. He has operated a very successful christmas tree farm near Brannockstown since 1985.
  All his staff are appropriately trained in chainsaw operation and in the skills of tree felling. In addition, he has accumulated considerable experience in tree felling and tree surgery over the past five years. Most of his work is in the Brannockstown, Dunlavin, Newbridge, Naas and Celbridge areas, but would cover other areas as necessary.
